12. 12- تسلِّم بأن الأشخاص المشردين قد يختارون طوعاً الاستعاضة عن حقوقهم في ملكية ديارهم أو أماكن إقامتهم المعتادة مقابل حقوق مماثلة أو مشابهة في ممتلكات أخرى أو إجراء صفقات أخرى محتملة، بشرط أن تُتَّخذ مثل هذه القرارات عن علم وبصورة طوعية؛

10.1 All refugees and displaced persons have the right to return voluntarily to their former homes, lands or places of habitual residence, in safety and dignity.
10-1 لجميع اللاجئين والمشردين الحق في أن يعودوا طوعاً إلى مساكنهم أو أراضيهم أو أماكن إقامتهم المعتادة السابقة بأمان وكرامة.

10.2 States shall allow refugees and displaced persons who wish to return voluntarily to their former homes, lands or places of habitual residence to do so.
