2- إذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على الأغلبية أقل من عدد المناصب المراد ملؤها، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية لملء المناصب المتبقية. ويقتصر التصويت عندئذ على عدد لايتجاوز ضعف عدد الشواغر المتبقية من المرشحين الحاصلين على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في جولة الاقتراع السابقة.

If three such unrestricted ballots are inconclusive, the next three ballots shall be restricted to the candidates who obtain the greatest number of votes in the third of the unrestricted ballots, to a number not more than twice the places remaining to be filled, and the following three ballots thereafter shall be unrestricted, and so on until all the places have been filled.
وإذا أجريت ثلاثة من هذه الاقتراعات غير المقيدة دون أن تسفر عن نتيجة حاسمة، تقتصر الاقتراعات الثلاثة التي تليها على المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في ثالث اقتراع غير مقيد، وعلى عدد لا يزيد على ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقي شغلها، وتكون الاقتراعات الثلاثة التي تليها غير مقيدة، وهلم جرا، حتى يتم شغل جميع المناصب.

In such case, the voting shall be restricted to the candidates who obtained the largest number of votes in the previous ballot, the number of whom should not exceed twice the number of places remaining to be filled.
وفي هذه الحالة، يقتصر الاقتراع على عدد من المرشحين الذين حصلوا على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق لا يزيد على ضعف عدد المناصب المتبقية.

If the number of candidates obtaining such majority is less than six, there shall be additional ballots, restricted to the candidates who obtained the largest number of votes in the previous ballot, with the number of candidates limited to not more than twice the places remaining to be filled.
وإذا كان عدد المرشحين الحاصلين على هذه الأغلبية أقل من ستة، تجرى اقتراعات إضافية تخص فقط المرشحين الحاصلين على أكبر عدد من الأصوات في الاقتراع السابق، على ألا يتجاوز عددهم ضعف عدد المقاعد المتبقية.
