[(k) “Equivalent forest” means an area of forest that will achieve at least the same carbon stock over the same period as would have occurred had the area of harvested “planted production forest” been re-established;]
[(ك) " الغابة المعادلة " تعني منطقة حرجية تحقق على الأقل نفس القدر من مخزون الكربون الذي يتحقق، خلال الفترة نفسها، لو أُعيد إنشاء " غابة الإنتاج المغروسة " التي جرى قطعها؛]

The " planted production forest " shall have been established by direct human-induced conversion of non-forest land to forest land by the planting and/or seeding provisions of an afforestation or reforestation activity;
وتنشأ " أحراج الإنتاج المغروسة " بفعل تدخُّل بشري مباشر يتمثل في تحويل الأرض غير الحرجية إلى أرض حرجية عن طريق عمليات الغرس و/أو زرع البذور ضمن نشاط قوامه التحريج أو إعادة التحريج؛

The " planted production forest " ] shall have been established by direct human-induced conversion of non-forest land to forest land [or non-productive forest land to planted production forests] by the planting and/or seeding provisions of an afforestation or reforestation activity;]
و " غابات الإنتاج المغروسة " ] يتعين أن تكون ناشئة عن تدخُّل بشري مباشر لتحويل الأرض غير الحرجية إلى أرض حرجية [أو أرض حرجية غير منتجة إلى غابات إنتاج مغروسة] عن طريق تدابير الغرس و/أو زرع البذور في إطار نشاط التحريج أو إعادة التحريج؛]

3 مكرراً - [في حالة غابات الإنتاج المغروسة [المنشأة قبل 1 كانون الثاني/ يناير 1990 فقط]، يُعتـبر تحويل أرض حرجية إلى أرضٍ غير حرجية قطعاً للأشجار، ولا يعتبر إزالة لغابة في الحالات التي تكون فيها غابة معادلة قد أُنشئت في مكان آخر على أرض غير حرجية كانت مؤهلة للتحريج أو إعادة التحريج.

3 bis.
