(د) الامتناع عن مباشرة أي عمل تمييزي أو ممارسة تمييزية ضد المرأة. وكفالة تصرف السلطة والمؤسسات العامة بما يتفق وهذا الالتزام؛

3.2 She also claims that the State party has contravened article 2, paragraph (d), of the Convention, as it failed to ensure that its agents refrain from engaging in any act or practice of discrimination against women, when they removed the author's name from the lease without her consent.
3-2 وتدعي أيضاً أن الدولة الطرف خالفت المادة 2(د) من الاتفاقية لعدم قيامها بضمان امتناع وكلائها عن مباشرة أي عمل تمييزي أو ممارسة تمييزية ضد المرأة عند حذف اسمها من عقد الإيجار دون رضاها.

8.9 As to the State party's argument that nothing in the Committee's jurisprudence indicates that any provisions of the Convention have extraterritorial effect, the Committee recalls that, under article 2 (d) of the Convention, States parties undertake to refrain from engaging in any act or practice of discrimination against women and to ensure that public authorities and institutions shall act in conformity with this obligation.
8-9- وفيما يتعلق بما ذهبت إليه الدولة الطرف بأن ليس هناك في فقه اللجنة ما يشير إلى أن أيٍ من أحكام الاتفاقية له أثر خارج حدود الولاية القضائية، فإن اللجنة تشير إلى أنه بموجب المادة 2 (د) من الاتفاقية تتعهد الدول الأطراف بالامتناع عن الاضطلاع بأي عمل أو أي ممارسة تمييزية ضد المرأة مع كفالة تصرّف السلطات والمؤسسات العامة بما يتفق وهذا الالتزام.
