4. States Parties shall take measures to provide assistance to victims of crimes covered by this Convention, enable views and concerns of victims to be presented and considered at appropriate stages of the criminal proceedings against the offenders in a manner not prejudicial to the rights of the defence, and establish procedures relating to restitution by offenders to victims of such crimes.
٤ - تتخذ الدول اﻷطراف تدابير لتقديم المساعدة الى ضحايا الجرائم التي تشملها هذه الاتفاقية ، وﻹتاحة الامكانية لعرض آراء الضحايا ودواعي قلقهم والنظر فيها في مراحل مناسبة من اجراءات الدعاوى الجنائية ضد الجناة بطريقة لا تخل بحقوق الدفاع ، ولوضع اجراءات تتعلق بقيام الجناة بتعويض ضحايا هذه الجرائم .

It provides that, where the personal interests of the victims are affected, the Court shall permit their views and concerns to be presented and considered at stages of the proceedings determined by the Court to be appropriate and in a manner which is not prejudicial to the rights of the accused and a fair and impartial trial.
وهي تنص على أنه حيثما يمس الأمر المصالح الشخصية للضحايا، يتعين على المحكمة أن تسمح بعرض آرائهم وشواغلهم وأخذها في الاعتبار في مراحل الإجراءات التي تراها المحكمة مناسبة وعلى نحو لا يجحف بحقوق المتهم ولا يمس بإنصاف المحاكمة ونـزاهتها.
