Working Group VI (Security Interests) had been entrusted with the preparation of an annex to the draft Guide on Secured Transactions specific to security rights in intellectual property -- the main asset for many small and medium-sized businesses -- so as to ensure that comprehensive and consistent guidance on security interests in movable assets would be provided to States as soon as possible.
