In its resolution 46/152, the General Assembly decided that the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme should be devoted to providing States with practical assistance, such as data collection, information and experience sharing, and training, in order to achieve the goals of preventing crime within and among States and improving the response to crime.
36- قرّرت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 46/152 أنه ينبغي أن يكرس برنامج الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية لتزويد الدول بمساعدة عملية، مثل جمع البيانات، وتقاسم المعلومات والخبرة، والتدريب، بغية تحقيق أهداف منع الجريمة داخل الدول وفيما بينها وتحسين وسائل التصدي للجريمة.

اذ تذكر بقرار الجمعية العامة ٦٤/٢٥١ المؤرخ ٨١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩١، الذي قررت فيه الجمعية أن يقوم برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية بتزويد الدول بمساعدات عملية، مثل جمع البيانات وتقاسم المعلومات والخبرة والتدريب، بغية تحقيق أهداف منع الجريمة داخل الدول وفيما بينها، وتحسين وسائل التصدي للجريمة،
