principle VI suggested preferred areas for the concentration of the States' efforts in international cooperation in the exploration and utilization of outer space for peaceful purposes, taking into account the recommendations of the Second United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Utilization of Outer Space for Peaceful Purposes (UNISPACE II).

Article 6 appeared as principle VI (b) and (c) of the Principles of International Law Recognized in the Charter of the Nuremberg Tribunal and in the Judgment of the Tribunal, adopted by the International Law Commission.
وترِد المادة 6 في شكل المبدأ السادس (ب) و (ج) من مبادئ القانون الدولي المعترف بها في النظام الأساسي لمحكمة نورمبرغ وفي حكم المحكمة، الذي اعتمدته لجنة القانون الدولي().

He urged the Committee to ensure that the referendum was carried out in accordance with the principles regarding the right to self-determination and that it offered the different options given under principle VI of General Assembly resolution 1541 (XV).

In the discussion that followed presentation of the contact group report, a number of representatives raised questions with respect to principle VI (now principle V in the annexed report of the contact group) and the roles of regional groups and Basel Convention regional centres in the prioritization of project proposals for possible funding.

6. The goal of full independence expressed in resolution 1514 (XV) was complemented by the General Assembly in its resolution 1541 (XV) of 15 December 1960, in which principle VI states that a Non-Self-Governing Territory can be said to have reached a full measure of self-government by:
٦ - واستكملت الجمعية العامة هدف نيل الاستقلال الكامل الوارد في القرار ١٥١٤ )د - ١٥( بالقرار ١٥٤١ )د - ١٥( المؤرخ ١٥ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٦٠، حيث ينص المبدأ السادس على أنه يجوز القول بنيل إقليم غير متمتع بالحكم الذاتي قسطا كاملا منه:
