The UNODC thematic programme on crime prevention and criminal justice reform, which is one of the five thematic programmes of UNODC, focuses on assisting Member States in developing new instruments, strategies, policies and programmes for crime prevention and criminal justice reform.
3- ويركِّز برنامج المكتب المواضيعي المعني بمنع الجريمة وإصلاح نُظُم العدالة الجنائية، والذي هو أحد برامج المكتب المواضيعية الخمسة،() على مساعدة الدول الأعضاء على استحداث أدوات واستراتيجيات وسياسات وبرامج جديدة لمنع الجريمة وإصلاح نُظُم العدالة الجنائية.

The standing open-ended intergovernmental working group on improving the governance and financial situation of UNODC was acknowledged as a valuable instrument for facilitating dialogue among Member States and between Member States and the Secretariat, particularly as regards the development and implementation of the thematic and regional programmes of UNODC, among other issues.
10- وسُلِّم بأنَّ الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي الدائم المفتوح العضوية المعني بتحسين حوكمة مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدّرات والجريمة ووضعه المالي أداة قيّمة في تيسير سُبل الحوار بين الدول الأعضاء وفيما بينها وبين الأمانة وخاصة فيما يتعلق بجملة مسائل منها وضع وتنفيذ برامج المكتب المواضيعية والإقليمية.

(b) To draw upon the regional and country programmes of UNODC, and the technical assistance activities outlined therein, in the development of national legislation, policies and strategies to strengthen criminal justice systems and related institutions, and to use the regional programmes as a vehicle for increasing regional and interregional cooperation in addressing transnational organized crime and illicit trafficking.
(ب) أن تستفيد من برامج المكتب الإقليمية والقُطرية ومن أنشطة المساعدة التقنية المحددة فيها من أجل صوغ تشريعات وإجراءات وسياسات واستراتيجيات وطنية تدعم نظمَ العدالة الجنائية والمؤسسات المتصلة بها؛ وأن تستخدم البرامج الإقليمية وسيلةً تكفل زيادة التعاون الإقليمي والأقاليمي على التصدِّي للجريمة المنظَّمة عبر الوطنية والاتِّجار غير المشروع.
