The GEF is expected to report at COP 12 on its assistance to non-Annex I Parties in formulating and developing project proposals identified in national communications and on possibilities to support carbon capture and storage.
126- ومن المتوقع أن يقدم مرفق البيئة العالمية تقريراً إلى مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثانية عشرة عن مساعدته إلى الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول بالاتفاقية في صياغة وإعداد مقترحات المشاريع المحددة في البلاغات الوطنية وعن الإمكانات المتاحة لدعم احتباس الكربون وتخزينه.

(c) To assist, as appropriate, non Annex I Parties in formulating and developing project proposals identified in their national communications in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention and decision 5/CP.11, paragraph 2;
(ج) أن يقوم، حسب الاقتضاء، بمساعدة الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول للاتفاقية في صياغة وإعداد مقترحات المشاريع المحددة في بلاغاتها الوطنية المقدمة وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 12 من الاتفاقية والفقرة 2 من المقرر 5/م أ-11؛

2. Requests the Global Environment Facility, in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention, and decision 11/CP.1, to assist, if so requested, Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention in formulating and developing project proposals identified in their national communications, when Parties are formulating their national programmes to address climate change issues;
2- يطلب إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية، وفقا للفقرة 4 من المادة 12 من الاتفاقية والمقرر 11/م أ-1، أن يقدم المساعدة، عند طلبها، إلى الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول بالاتفاقية في صياغة وإعداد مقترحات المشاريع المحددة في بلاغاتها الوطنية، أثناء صياغة الأطراف لبرامجها الوطنية الرامية إلى معالجة قضايا تغير المناخ؛

The SBI reiterated that non-Annex I Parties may request assistance from the GEF in formulating and developing project proposals identified in their national communications (decision 5/CP.11, para. 2), in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention.
36- وأكّدت الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ مجدداً أن الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول يمكن أن تطلب المساعدة من مرفق البيئة العالمية في صياغة وتطوير مقترحات المشاريع المحددة في بلاغاتها الوطنية (المقرر 5/م أ-11، الفقرة 2) وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 12 من الاتفاقية.

To assist, as appropriate, non-Annex I Parties in formulating and developing project proposals identified in their national communications in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention and decision 5/CP.11, paragraph 2;

34- وأكّدت الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ مجدداً أن للأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول أن تطلب المساعدة من مرفق البيئة العالمية في صياغة وتطوير مقترحات المشاريع المحددة في بلاغاتها الوطنية()، وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 12 من الاتفاقية.

Assist, as appropriate, non-Annex I Parties in formulating and developing project proposals identified in their national communications in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention and decision 5/CP.11, paragraph 2;

45. The SBI recalled the request to the GEF made by the COP in its decisions 7/CP.13 and 4/CP.14 to assist, as appropriate, non-Annex I Parties in formulating and developing project proposals identified in their national communications, in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention and decision 5/CP.11, paragraph 2.
45- وأشارت الهيئة الفرعية إلى الطلب الذي وجهه مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرريه 7/م أ-13 و4/م أ-14 إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية والذي يدعوه إلى أن يساعد الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول، حسب الاقتضاء، في صياغة مقترحات المشاريع المحددة في بلاغاتها الوطنية وإعدادها، وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 12 من الاتفاقية وللفقرة 2 من المقرر 5/م أ-11.

The SBI invited the GEF, in accordance with the policies, programme priorities and eligibility criteria established by the COP, as well as other bilateral and multilateral assistance programmes, to assist, if so requested, non-Annex I Parties in formulating and developing project proposals identified in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention.
40- ودعت الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ مرفق البيئة العالمية إلى القيام، وفقاً للسياسات والأولويات البرنامجية ومعايير الأهلية التي وضعها مؤتمر الأطراف، فضلاً عن برامج المساعدة الثنائية والمتعددة الأطراف، بمساعدة الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول، إذا طُلب منه ذلك، في صياغة وإعداد مقترحات المشاريع المحددة وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 12 من الاتفاقية.

The SBI also reiterated the request of the COP at its thirteenth8 session to the GEF to assist, as appropriate, nonAnnex I Parties in formulating and developing project proposals identified in their national communications in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 4, of the Convention and decision 5/CP.11, paragraph 2.
27- كما كررت الهيئة الفرعية الطلب الذي وجهه مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثالثة عشرة() إلى مرفق البيئة العالمية بأن يقوم، حسب الاقتضاء، بمساعدة الأطراف غير المدرجة في المرفق الأول على صياغة وتطوير مقترحات المشاريع المحددة في بلاغاتها الوطنية المقدمة وفقاً للفقرة 4 من المادة 12 من الاتفاقية، والفقرة 2 من المقرر 5/م أ-11.
