The General Assembly requested the Secretary-General, in consultation with the Executive Secretary of the Southern African Development Community, to continue to intensify contacts aimed at promoting and harmonizing cooperation between the United Nations and the Community; and also requested the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its fiftieth session on the implementation of the same resolution.
٣ - وطلبت الجمعية العامة الى اﻷمين العام أن يستمر، بالتشاور مع اﻷمين التنفيذي للجماعة اﻹنمائية للجنوب الافريقي، في تكثيف الاتصالات التي تستهدف تعزيز وتنسيق التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة والجماعة؛ كما طلبت الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخمسين عن تنفيذ القرار ذاته.
