The time-limit for an appeal is 15 days from the pronouncement of sentence.
والمهلة المحددة للاستئناف هي ٥١ يوما اعتبارا من تاريخ النطق بالحكم.

In the former case, the time-limit is 15 days from the pronouncement of sentence and, in the latter, 30 days.
وفي الحالة اﻷولى، تكون المهلة هي ٥١ يوما اعتبارا من النطق بالحكم. وفي الحالة الثانية، تمتد المهلة الى ٠٣ يوما.

`٣` النطق بالحكم

Article 313 of the Algerian Code of Criminal Procedure requires that, after the pronouncement of a sentence in a criminal court, the president of the court inform the sentenced person that he/she has eight days from the time of pronouncement in which to submit a cassation appeal.
وتنص المادة 313 من قانون الإجراءات الجنائية الجزائري على أن يقوم رئيس المحكمة بإبلاغ الشخص المحكوم عليه، بعد النطق بالحكم في محكمة جنائية، بأن أمامه ثمانية أيام اعتباراً من وقت النطق بالحكم يمكنه خلالها تقديم طعن بنقضه.

7.4 The Regional Court explains that, as transpires from the trial transcript, after the pronouncement of the sentence, the presiding judge explained to the convicts, including the author, the appeal procedure, and their right to study the trial transcript and comment thereon.
