٤ - يدعو الدول والمنظمات التي في وضع يمكنها من تزويد أمانة برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للبيئة بمعلومات عن الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات الجديدة في ميدان البيئة وكذلك بمعلومات بشأن أي تغييرات طرأت على أوضاع الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات القائمة في ميدان البيئة، أن تفعل ذلك.
