I should like to draw members' attention to the relevant provision of rule 15 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, which reads as follows:
وأود أن أوجه انتباه الأعضاء إلى حكم المادة 15 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة التي تنص على ما يلي:

The Assembly decided to waive the provision of rule 40 of the rules of procedure.
قررت الجمعية العامة أن تطرح حكم المادة ٤٠ من النظام الداخلي جانبا.

وفي هذا الصدد، لما كان مشروع القرار قد وزع للتو، سيلزم التنازل عن حكم المادة ٧٨ من النظام الداخلي، المتصل بهذه الحالة.

قررت الجمعية العامة التنازل عن الحكم الوارد في المادة ٤٠ من النظام الداخلي.
