(a) The Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment of the Committee against Torture (2008);
(أ) اللجنة الفرعية المعنية بمنع التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة التابعة للجنة مناهضة التعذيب (2008)؛

11. Takes note of the contribution received from the Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment of the Committee against Torture and other submissions received for consideration, and underlines in this regard the valuable contribution of civil society in this process;
11 - تحيط علما بالمساهمة التي قدمتها اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة التابعة للجنة مناهضة التعذيب وغيرها من المساهمات التي وردت للنظر فيها()، وتشدد في هذا الصدد على الإسهام القيم للمجتمع المدني في تلك العملية؛

50. Mr. de Barros (Acting Secretary of the Committee) said that it was stated in article 2, paragraph 1, of the draft Optional Protocol annexed to draft resolution A/C.3/57/L.30 that a Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment of the Committee against Torture should be established and carry out the functions laid down in the Protocol.
