The purpose of this Protocol is to promote, facilitate and strengthen cooperation among States Parties in order to prevent, combat and eradicate the illicit manufacturing of and trafficking in firearms, their parts and components and ammunition.
الغرض من هذا البروتوكول هو ترويج وتيسير وتعزيز التعاون بين الدول الأطراف بغية منع ومكافحة واستئصال صنع الأسلحة النارية وأجزائها ومكوناتها والذخيرة والاتجار بها بصورة غير مشروعة.

The purpose of this Protocol is to prevent and combat the smuggling of migrants, as well as to promote cooperation among States Parties to that end, while protecting the rights of smuggled migrants.
أغراض هذا البروتوكول هي منع ومكافحة تهريب المهاجرين، وكذلك تعزيز التعاون بين الدول الأطراف تحقيقا لتلك الغاية، مع حماية حقوق المهاجرين المهرَّبين.

" الغرض من هذا البروتوكول هو تعزيز وتيسير التعاون بين الدول اﻷطراف على منع جريمة الاتجار عبر الوطني بالنساء واﻷطفال ]باﻷشخاص ، ولا سيما النساء واﻷطفال[ والتحري عنها والمعاقبة عليها . "

“The purpose of this Protocol is to prevent, suppress, punish and investigate international trafficking in persons, especially women and children, for the purpose of forced labour or sexual exploitation, and in implementation thereof, States Parties shall be encouraged:

The purpose of this Protocol is to promote and facilitate cooperation among States Parties to the Protocol and to the Convention with respect to the illicit manufacturing of and trafficking in firearms, ammunition and other related materials.
الغرض من هذا البروتوكول ترويج وتيسير التعاون بين الدول اﻷطراف وفي البروتوكول في الاتفاقية فيما يتعلق بصنع اﻷسلحة النارية والذخيرة وسائر المعدات ذات الصلة والاتجار بها بشكل غير مشروع .

2. With a view to combating the illegal activities carried out by criminal organizations in the areas of the illicit manufacturing of and trafficking in firearms, ammunition and other related materials, as well as their use for the purpose of facilitating their unlawful enterprises, the purpose of this Protocol is:
٢ - بهدف مكافحة اﻷنشطة غير القانونية التي تقوم بها المنظمات الاجرامية في ميادين صنع اﻷسلحة النارية والذخيرة وسائر المعدات ذات الصلة والاتجار بها بصورة غير مشروعة ، وكذلك استخدامها بغرض تيسير مشروعاتها غير القانونية ، الغرض من هذا البروتوكول هو :

Another delegation suggested the addition of the words “involuntary servitude” to the purpose of this Protocol.
واقترح وفد آخر اضافة عبارة " العبودية القسرية " الى أغراض هذا البروتوكول .

“This Protocol encourages States Parties to cooperate with non-States Parties on the basis of equality and reciprocity for the purpose of this Protocol.”
" يشجع هذا البروتوكول الدول اﻷطراف على التعاون مع الدول غير اﻷطراف على أساس المساواة والمعاملة بالمثل تحقيقا ﻷغراض هذا البروتوكول . "
