وينبغي للمادة 4 أن تقتضي قيام أطراف الصراع بتسجيل وحفظ المعلومات المتعلقة بأنواع وأماكن الذخائر المتفجرة المستخدمة وآليات تفجيرها. وينبغي تقديم هذه المعلومات على أساس ثنائي أو من خلال طرف ثالث يشمل في جملة ما يشمله الأمم المتحدة أو غيرها من المنظمات المعنية.

30. The Conference urged the users (or abandoners) of explosive ordnance to record and retain, if possible, all the information outlined in Part 1 of the Technical Annex of Protocol V.

38. The Preparatory Committee also agreed to recommend to the First Conference to urge users (or abandoners) of explosive ordnance to record and retain, if possible, all the information outlined in Part 1 of the Technical Annex of Protocol V.
