Q.10. In this respect, the Committee also notes the information provided by the delegation that there is no specific offence in the legislation of the State party prohibiting the sale of arms to countries where children could be recruited or used in hostilities.

The Committee is also concerned that certain categories of professionals working with children who may have been recruited or used in hostilities do not receive sufficient training and that awareness of the Optional Protocol among the general public is low.

17. The Committee recommends that the State party provide protection for asylum-seeking and refugee children arriving in Japan who may have been recruited or used in hostilities abroad by taking, inter alia, the following measures:
17- وتوصي اللجنة بأن تقوم الدولة الطرف بتوفير الحماية للأطفال اللاجئين وطالبي اللجوء باليابان الذين سبق تجنيدهم أو استخدامهم في أعمال عدائية بالخارج عن طريق، في جملة أمور، اتخاذ التدابير التالية :

(a) Identifying, at the earliest possible opportunity, refugee and asylum-seeking children who may have been recruited or used in hostilities;

The Committee notes with concern that the State party does not provide an adequate followup strategy to asylumseeking and refugee children, including children who have been recruited or used in hostilities, who are returned to their home countries from Norway.

8. The Committee regrets that the State party does not collect data on the number of refugee children, accompanied or unaccompanied, nor on the number of these children present in the jurisdiction of the State party who have been recruited or used in hostilities.
8- تأسف اللجنة لعدم قيام الدولة الطرف بجمع بيانات عن عدد الأطفال اللاجئين، المصحوبين أو غير المصحوبين، ولا عن عدد هؤلاء الأطفال الخاضعين لولايتها الذين تم تجنيدهم أو استخدامهم في أعمال حربية.

(a) Identify at the earliest possible stage refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant children entering Costa Rica who may have been recruited or used in hostilities contrary to the Protocol;

3. Demands the immediate demobilization and disarmament, reintegration and, where applicable, repatriation of all child soldiers, particularly girls, who have been recruited or used in armed conflicts in contravention of international law;
3- تطالب بالتسريح الفوري لجميع الأطفال الجنود، وخاصة الفتيات، الذين تم تجنيدهم أو استخدامهم في النـزاعات المسلحة بما يخالف القانون الدولي، وبنزع سلاحهم وإعادة إدماجهم، وإعادتهم إلى أوطانهم حيثما كان ذلك منطبقاً؛

(c) Ensure the greatest transparency regarding the transfer of arms and explicitly prohibit in law the sale of arms when there is risk that the final destination is a country where children are, or potentially could be, recruited or used in hostilities.
(ج) ضمان توخي قدر أكبر من الشفافية فيما يتعلق بنقل الأسلحة وحظر بيعها صراحة بموجب القانون عندما تكون وجهتها الأخيرة هي أحد البلدان الذي يحتمل أن يتعرض فيه الأطفال أو يتعرضون فيه بالفعل للتجنيد أو الاستخدام في الأعمال القتالية.

10. With regard to the legal protection of asylum-seeking, refugee and migrant children, including those who may have been recruited or used in hostilities contrary to the Optional Protocol, please inform the Committee whether Qatar is considering becoming a party to the 1951 Convention on the Status of Refugees and its 1967 Protocol.

14. Please inform the Committee of the training and dissemination of the Protocol among relevant professional groups working at the national level with children who may have been recruited or used in hostilities, including migration authorities, lawyers, judges, medical professionals, social workers and journalists.
14- يُرجى إبلاغ اللجنة عما تلقّته الفئات المهنية العاملة على الصعيد الوطني مع أطفال يُحتمل أن يكونوا قد تعرّضوا للتجنيد أو للاستخدام في أعمال قتالية، من تدريب على أحكام البروتوكول وعن نشر هذا البروتوكول بين تلك الفئات ومنها سلطات الهجرة والمحامون والقضاة والعاملون في المجال الطبي والأخصائيون الاجتماعيون والصحفيون.

The Committee urges the State party to enact and apply full prohibition of arms exports, including small arms and light weapons as well as any kind of military assistance to countries where children are known to be, or may potentially be, recruited or used in armed conflict and/or hostilities.
41- وتحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على سنّ وتطبيق حظر تام على تصدير الأسلحة، بما فيها الأسلحة الصغيرة والخفيفة فضلاً عن أي نوع من المساعدة العسكرية لبلدان يعرف أن الأطفال فيها يُجندون أو يُستخدمون أو ثمة احتمال بأن يُجندوا أو يُستخدموا في النزاعات المسلحة و/أو الأعمال العدائية.

However, the Committee is concerned that identification of children who may have been recruited or used in hostilities prior to arrival in Spain is inadequate and that data on these children are not systematically collected.
