1. General situation of refugees and asylumseekers in Lebanon

Reports should further indicate the measures adopted to ensure the rights set forth in the Convention to each child under the jurisdiction of the State without discrimination of any kind, including nonnationals, refugees and asylumseekers.
وينبغي أن تشير التقارير كذلك إلى التدابير المتخذة لضمان الحقوق المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية لكل طفل يخضع لولاية الدولة دون أي نوع من أنواع التمييز، بمن فيهم من غير المواطنين ومن اللاجئين وملتمسي اللجوء.

The Committee urges the State party to respect the right to freedom of movement of refugees and asylumseekers within the borders of the State party's territory, as well as their right to identity documents, including by issuing official birth certificates to newborn children of asylumseekers and refugees.
تحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على احترام الحق في حرية تنقل اللاجئين وملتمسي اللجوء داخل حدود إقليم الدولة الطرف، وكذلك حقهم في الحصول على وثائق هوية، بما في ذلك إصدار شهادات ميلاد رسمية لحديثي الولادة من أطفال ملتمسي اللجوء واللاجئين.

The Committee also urges the State party to, as a matter of priority, review its policy regarding birth registration of refugee children and ensure that all children of refugees and asylumseekers born in the State party are issued with birth certificates.
وتحث اللجنة أيضاً الدولة الطرف على أن تعيد النظر على سبيل الأولوية في سياستها في ما يخص تسجيل ميلاد الأطفال اللاجئين وضمان إصدار شهادات الميلاد لجميع أطفال اللاجئين وملتمسي اللجوء المولودين في الدولة الطرف.

It also recalls the obligation of the State party to take measures to ensure that conditions in centres for refugees and asylumseekers conform to international standards.
وتذكّر اللجنة أيضاً بالتزام الدولة الطرف باتخاذ تدابير لضمان امتثال الأوضاع في مراكز اللاجئين وطالبي اللجوء للمعايير الدولية.

Finally, disappointment was expressed that the concluding observations did not reflect many of the important matters that had been raised during the questioning of the delegation by the Committee members, such as the situation of refugees and asylumseekers.
