25. The COP may appoint ad hoc Panels, as necessary, to provide it with information and advice on specific issues regarding the state of the art in relevant fields of science and technology.

1. The Conference of the Parties may, in principle in its ordinary session, and as necessary, appoint ad hoc panels to provide it, through the Committee on Science and Technology, with information and advice on specific issues regarding the state of the art in fields of science and technology relevant to combating desertification and mitigating the effects of drought.
١ - يجوز من حيث المبدأ أن يقوم مؤتمر اﻷطراف، في دورته العادية وحسبما يقتضيه اﻷمر، بتعيين أفرقة مخصصة لتوافيه، عن طريق لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا، بالمعلومات والمشورة بشأن قضايا محددة تتعلق بآخر ما وصل إليه التقدم في ميادين العلم والتكنولوجيا المتصلة بمكافحة التصحر وتخفيف آثار الجفاف.

١- يجوز لمؤتمر اﻷطراف، حسبما يقتضيه اﻷمر، أن يعين أفرقة مخصصة لتوافيه، عن طريق لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا، بالمشورة بشأن قضايا محددة تتعلق بآخر ما وصل إليه التقدم في ميادين العلم والتكنولوجيا المتصلة بمكافحة التصحر وتخفيف آثار الجفاف.

13. Article 24, paragraph 3 of the Convention provides that the Conference of the Parties " may, as necessary, appoint ad hoc panels to provide it, through the Committee, with information and advice on specific issues regarding the state of the art in fields of science and technology relevant to combating desertification and mitigating the effects of drought.

43. Article 24, paragraph 3, of the Convention provides for the creation of ad hoc panels, as necessary, by the COP in order to provide it, through the CST, with information and advice on specific issues regarding the state of the art in the fields of science and technology relevant to combating desertification and mitigating the effects of drought.
43- وتنص الفقرة 3 من المادة 24 من الاتفاقية على أن يقوم مؤتمر الأطراف بإنشاء أفرقة خبراء مخصصة، حسب الضرورة، من أجل تزويده، من خلال لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا، بالمعلومات والمشورة بشأن قضايا محددة تتعلق بأحدث التطورات في ميادين العلم والتكنولوجيا ذات الصلة بمكافحة التصحر والتخفيف من آثار الجفاف.

41. Article 24, paragraph 3 of the UNCCD provides for the creation of ad hoc panels, as necessary, by the COP in order to provide it, through the CST, with information and advice on specific issues regarding the state of the art in the fields of science and technology relevant to combating desertification and mitigating the effects of drought.
41- تنص الفقرة 3 من المادة 24 من الاتفاقية على أن يقوم مؤتمر الأطراف بإنشاء أفرقة خبراء مخصصة، حسب الضرورة، من أجل تزويده، من خلال لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا، بالمعلومات والمشورة بشأن القضايا المحددة المتعلقة بأحدث التطورات في ميادين العلم والتكنولوجيا ذات الصلة بمكافحة التصحُّر والتخفيف من آثار الجفاف.

4-12 وفيما يخص الحالة الصحية لصاحب الشكوى وطفليه، تفيد الدولة الطرف بأنها لا تشكل معياراً لتحديد ما إذا كانت هناك أسباب حقيقية تدعو إلى الاعتقاد بوجود خطر التعرض للتعذيب في حالة إبعادهم.

24. Lastly, regarding the state of destination, his delegation was of the view that the State from which an expelled alien had come was under no obligation to readmit that alien at the request of the expelling State, provided that the alien had entered the expelling State lawfully.
24 - وأخيراً، فإنه فيما يتعلق بدولة المقصد يرى وفده أن الدولة التي أتى منها أجنبي مطرود غير ملزمة بأن تُدخله إلى أراضيها مجدداً ذلك الأجنبي بناء على طلب الدولة الطاردة، شريطة أن يكون الأجنبي قد دخل إقليم الدولة الطاردة دخولاً مشروعاً.
