Active support to Member States on the registration of space objects resulted in seven States submitting information under the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space for the first time and in three States submitting notifications on the establishment of their national registries.
وأفضى الدعم الفعال المقدم إلى الدول الأعضاء فيما يتعلق بتسجيل الأجسام الفضائية إلى تقديم سبع دول لمعلومات في إطار اتفاقية تسجيل الأجسام المطلقة في الفضاء الخارجي لأول مرة وتقديم ثلاث دول لإخطارات بإنشاء سجلات وطنية.

The basic principles agreed upon in those agreements are best effort, no exchange of funds, availability of appropriate funds, cross-waiver of liability, distribution of intellectual property rights and ownership, amicable settlement of disputes and arbitration, registration of space objects to be launched under the respective project, coordination of press activities and applicable law.
وتتمثَّل المبادئ الأساسية المتفق عليها في تلك الاتفاقات في بذل أفضل الجهود، وعدم تبادل الأموال، وتوافر الأموال المناسبة، والتنازل عن مساءلة الغير، وتوزيع حقوق الملكية الفكرية والملكية المادية، والتسوية الودية للمنازعات والتحكيم، وتسجيل الأجسام الفضائية التي تُطلق في إطار المشاريع ذات الصلة، وتنسيق الأنشطة الإعلامية والقوانين المنطبقة.

The view was expressed that the authorization and monitoring of national space activities and the registration of space objects were essential, as they enabled States to have effective control of their national space activities and better respond to international responsibilities.
96- وأَعرب أحد الوفود عن رأي مفاده أنَّ الترخيص بالأنشطة الفضائية الوطنية ومراقبتها وتسجيل الأجسام الفضائية أمور تتسم بأهمية حاسمة، لأنها تتيح للدول ممارسة مراقبة فعالة على أنشطتها الفضائية الوطنية وتحسين ما تتخذه من تدابير لتنفيذ التزاماتها الدولية.

The Subcommittee noted that a number of States were developing national mechanisms for registration of space objects.
