2- إذا كان تقرير إحدى الدول الأطراف في العهد لا يتضمن، في رأي اللجنة، معلومات كافية، يجوز للجنة أن تطلب إلى تلك الدولة تقديم المعلومات الإضافية المطلوبة، مع بيان الموعد النهائي لتقديم تلك المعلومات.

2. If a report of a State party to the Covenant, in the opinion of the Committee, does not contain sufficient information, the Committee may request the State concerned to furnish the additional information which is required, indicating the manner as well as the time within which the said information should be submitted.
2- وإذا رأت اللجنة أن التقرير المقدم من دولة طرف في العهد لا يتضمن معلومات كافية يجوز لها أن تطلب من الدولة المعنية توفير المعلومات الإضافية اللازمة مبينة طريقة وتوقيت تقديم المعلومات المذكورة.

1. The Committee may, after consideration of the report of a State party, make concluding comments on the report with a view to assisting the State party in implementing its obligations under the Convention.
1 - يجوز للجنة، بعد النظر في تقرير الدولة الطرف، أن تقدم تعليقات ختامية عن التقرير لغرض مساعدة تلك الدولة على تنفيذ التزاماتها بموجب الاتفاقية.

This includes, when the report of a State party comes before a treaty body, ensuring that the relevant UNIC receives a copy of the report, following up with press releases on specific meetings of the relevant treaty body and transmitting to the UNIC the concluding observations adopted on the report.
وهذا يشمل، عند عرض تقرير الدولة الطرف على إحدى الهيئات التعاهدية، ضمان حصول المركز اﻹعلامي ذي الصلة على نسخة من التقرير، ومتابعة ذلك ببيانات صحفية حول جلسات محددة للهيئة التعاهدية ذات الصلة ثم تزويد المركز اﻹعلامي لﻷمم المتحدة بالملاحظات الختامية التي يتم اعتمادها فيما يتعلق بالتقرير.
