The Permanent Mission of Denmark to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Chairman of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 (2004) concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo and has the honour to hereby transmit the report of Denmark pursuant to Security Council resolutions 1857 (2008) and 1896 (2009) (see annex).

At its ninety-fourth session, held from 13 to 31 October 2008, in its concluding observations on the report of Denmark (CCPR/C/DNK/CO/5), the Committee recommended that the State party should pay particular attention to the self-identification of the individuals concerned in the determination of their status as persons belonging to minorities or indigenous peoples.
6- وفي الدورة الرابعة والتسعين التي عُقدت في الفترة من 13 إلى 31 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2008، أوصت اللجنة في ملاحظاتها الختامية على تقرير الدانمرك (CCPR/C/DNK/CO/5) بأن تولي الدولة الطرف اهتماماً خاصاً لتعريف الأفراد المعنيين الذاتي بهوياتهم عند تحديد وضعهم كأشخاص ينتمون إلى الأقليات أو إلى الشعوب الأصلية.
