49. The report of Jordan (E/CONF.94/INF.8) commented on the National Committee on Geographical Names, Jordan and the world atlas, a school atlas and Jordanian building names and administrative names.
49 - وعَلَّق تقرير الأردن (E/CONF.94/INF.8) على اللجنة الوطنية المعنية بالأسماء الجغرافية، وعلى أطلس الأردن والعالم، وعلى الأطلس المدرسي، وأسماء المباني الأردنية والأسماء الإدارية.

61. The report of Jordan (E/CONF.98/8 and Add.1) outlined the composition of the names of towns in Jordan, with specific reference to the use of common beginnings of names and the number of syllables contained in the names.
61 - عرض تقرير الأردن (E/CONF.98/8 و Add.1) بإيجاز تكوين أسماء البلدات في الأردن، مشيرا على وجه التحديد إلى استخدام بدايات مشتركة للأسماء وإلى عدد المقاطع الواردة في الأسماء.

62. The report of Jordan (E/CONF.98/9 and Add.1) discussed the number of repeated names for towns in Jordan, advising that there were 62 names repeated for a total of 165 towns.
62 - وناقش تقرير الأردن (E/CONF.98/9 و Add.1) عدد الأسماء المتكررة للبلدات في الأردن، مشيراً إلى وجود 62 اسما مكررا من مجموع 165 بلدة.

The Human Rights Committee has recommended that such offences be reviewed, inter alia, in paragraph 6 of its concluding observations in 2010 on the fourth periodic report of Jordan (CCPR/C/JOR/CO/4):
