1- عملاً بالفقرة 10 من قرار الجمعية العامة 60/251 المؤرخ 15 آذار/مارس 2006، ووفقاً للمادة 6 من النظام الداخلي لمجلس حقوق الإنسان الوارد في قرار المجلس 5/1 المؤرخ 18 حزيران/يونيه 2007، يعقد المجلس دورات استثنائية، حسب الضرورة، بناء على طلب من أحد أعضاء المجلس يحظى بتأييد ثلث أعضائه.
