٣ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا أن يقدم تقريرا مفصلا عن أنشطة اللجنة وخططها وبرامجها إلى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في السنوات التي لا تعقد فيها اللجنة دورات.

10. requests the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa to monitor the implementation of the New Agenda closely, especially those aspects related to the mobilization of resources, and to report thereon to the Conference of Ministers of the Commission at its twenty-first meeting.
١٠ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة الاقتصادية لافريقيا أن يرصد عن كثب تنفيذ برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة الجديد للتنمية في افريقيا، ولا سيما الجوانب المتصلة بتعبئة الموارد، وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك إلى مؤتمر الوزراء التابع للجنة في اجتماعه الحادي والعشرين.

2. requests the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia to present in 1998, in his comprehensive report to the member States on the progress made in the implementation of the Commission's programme of work and priorities for the biennium 1996-1997, any other changes effected in the programme of work and priorities.
٢ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا أن يعرض، في تقريره الشامل إلى الدول اﻷعضاء عام ٨٩٩١ عن التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ برنامج عمل اللجنة وأولوياتها لفترة السنتين ٦٩٩١-٧٩٩١، أي تعديلات أخرى يجري إدخالها على برنامج العمل واﻷولويات.

1. requests the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia to take into account the guidelines contained in the report of the Technical Committee on the work of its tenth session, held at Beirut on 5 and 6 May 1997, and to include them in the revised medium-term plan in accordance with the applicable United Nations rules;
١ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين التنفيذي للجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا أن يراعي المبادئ التوجيهية الواردة في تقرير اللجنة الفنية عن أعمال دورتها العاشرة التي عقدت في بيروت في يومي ٥ و ٦ أيار/ مايو ٧٩٩١، وأن يدرجها في الخطة المتوسطة اﻷجل المنقحة، وذلك حسب قواعد اﻷمم المتحدة المتبعة بهذا الشأن؛

4. requests the Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific to strengthen secretariat assistance to members and associate members by taking the following action:
