٧ - على الدول اﻷطراف أن تسعى الى تعجيل اجراءات تسليم المجرمين والى تبسيط ما يتصل بها من متطلبات خاصة باﻷدلة ، فيما يتعلق بأي جرم تنطبق عليه هذه المادة .أعربت بعض الوفود عن قلقها من أن تؤدي هذه الفقرة الى انتهاكات للحقوق القانونية اﻷساسية للمدعى عليه .
