The second suggestion was to organize an enlarged meeting of the representatives of the treaty bodies, in which the Chairperson and two members of each body would take part, in order to discuss matters of mutual concern. Two topics had been put forward for consideration, namely the harmonization of the bodies' working methods and the question of reservations made by States parties.

17. The Committee believes that reservations made by States parties to the Convention should not in any way limit the rights of unaccompanied and separated children.
17- وتؤمن اللجنة أن التحفظات التي أبدتها الدول الأطراف على الاتفاقية ينبغي ألا تقيد بأي شكل من الأشكال حقوق الأطفال غير المصحوبين أو المنفصلين عن ذويهم.

17. The Committee believes that reservations made by States parties to the Convention should not in any way limit the rights of unaccompanied and separated children.
17- وتؤمن اللجنة بأنّ التحفظات التي أبدتها الدول الأطراف على الاتفاقية ينبغي ألا تقيد بأي شكل من الأشكال حقوق الأطفال غير المصحوبين أو المنفصلين عن ذويهم.

(b) The Committee has a decisive role to play in the assessment of the validity and impact of reservations made by States parties, and will continue to systematically raise this issue with States parties.
