23. The Committee notes with concern that the State party did not provide sufficient information and statistical data on the situation of non-Saudi Arabian women residing in the State party.

50. The Committee requests that the State party include in its next report more detailed statistical data and analysis on the situation of women, disaggregated by sex, age, rural and urban areas, and including information on non-nationals of the United Arab Emirates residing in the State party.

It is further concerned that stateless persons and refugees residing in the State party reportedly lack access to basic economic and social rights, including health care, education and legal employment (art. 2 (2)).

37. The Committee is concerned that domestic legislation and practice still do not guarantee free medical assistance to foreign children residing in the State party for fewer than five years, as recommended by the Committee in its previous recommendations (CRC/C/15/Add.158, para. 35).
37- يساور اللجنة القلق لكون التشريعات والممارسة المحلية ما زالت لا تكفل المساعدة الطبية المجانية للأطفال الأجانب المقيمين في الدولة الطرف لمدة تقل عن خمس سنوات، كما جاء في توصيات اللجنة السابقة (CRC/C/15/Add.158، الفقرة 35).

The Committee recommends that the State party ensure that, in accordance with the Committee's general comment No. 14 (2000) on the right to the highest attainable standard of health (art. 12 of the Covenant) and the principle of universal health care, the reforms adopted do not limit the access of persons residing in the State party to health services, regardless of their legal situation.

8. Please indicate to what extent the economic, social and cultural rights of stateless people residing in the State party have been affected by the non-ratification of the 1954 Convention relating to the status of Stateless Persons and the 1961 Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness.

While taking note of the information provided by the State party on the geographical and gender distribution of the population residing in the State party as well as the total number of citizens and non-citizens, the Committee is concerned at the lack of statistical data in the report of the State party on the ethnic composition of the population and the socio-economic situation of the different groups.

The Committee is however concerned that an increasing number of Iraqi girls residing in the State party are forced into prostitution, that the State party is a growing destination for child sex tourism, and that children engaged in prostitution are often criminalized.

344. The Committee notes the large number of foreigners residing in the State party and welcomes the measures taken by the authorities to ensure the enjoyment of their economic, social and cultural rights.
