Reaffirms the importance of security sector reform in the stabilization and reconstruction of States in the aftermath of conflict and resolves to continue to include and prioritize, as appropriate, security sector reform aspects as an integral part of the mandates of United Nations peacekeeping operations and special political missions;
١ - يؤكد من جديد أهمية إصلاح قطاع الأمن في إحلال الاستقرار في الدول في أعقاب انتهاء النـزاع وفي تعميرها، ويعقد العزم على أن يواصل، حسب الاقتضاء، إدراج جوانب إصلاح قطاع الأمن باعتبارها جزءا لا يتجزأ من ولايات عمليات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام وبعثاتها السياسية الخاصة، وإعطاءها الأولوية؛
