The report of Secretary-General on employment of retirees (A/55/451) was submitted pursuant to paragraph (f) of General Assembly decision 51/408 of 4 November 1996, in which the Secretary-General was requested to report to the Assembly every two years on all aspects of the use of retired personnel.
