A. Facilitating the exchange of ideas among States on the expeditious return of assets

He also underlined the need to have a broad and comprehensive chapter on the recovery of assets, including prevention, cooperation, recovery mechanism and disposition, as well as the general principle of return of assets to the countries concerned.

Article 57 is a milestone in asset recovery and was one of the most complex provisions during the negotiation process of the Convention because it introduced for the first time the concept of return of assets in their entirety.

One of the most complex provisions during the negotiation process pertained to the return of assets (article 57), because it introduced the concept of return of assets in their entirety.
وكان من أعقد الأحكام خلال عملية التفاوض حكم يتعلق بإرجاع الموجودات (المادة 57)، لأنه استحدث مفهوم إرجاع الموجودات بالكامل.

In its resolution 2/3, the Conference decided that the Working Group should explore means of building confidence, facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on the expeditious return of assets among States and encourage cooperation between requesting and requested States.
قرّر المؤتمر في قراره 2/3 أن يستكشفَ الفريق العامل وسائل بناء الثقة وأن يُيسّرَ تبادل المعلومات والأفكار بين الدول بشأن التعجيل بإرجاع الموجودات ويشجّع على التعاون بين الدول الطالبة والدول المتلقية الطلبات.

ثالثا- التدابير التي اتخذتها الدول من أجل منع الفساد ومكافحته والعمل على إرجاع الموجودات المتأتية من مصدر غير مشروع على وجه السرعة، تماشيا مع اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد

Its goal is to encourage and facilitate the systematic and timely return of assets that are proceeds of corruption and to improve global performance in the return of stolen assets.

57. As mentioned in paragraph 51 above, the rules governing the return of assets to the country of origin require that the assets had been confiscated at the request of the victim country.
57- وعلى النحو الذي أُشير إليه في الفقرة 51 أعلاه، فإن القواعد الناظمة لإرجاع الموجودات إلى بلدها الأصلي تقتضي أن تكون الموجودات قد صودرت بطلب من البلد المتضرر.
