The Advisory Committee does not object to the revision of the Financial Regulations and Rules as proposed by the Executive Director in her report which, as indicated in paragraph 3 above, would provide UNFPA the ability to respond in a timely and appropriate manner to such crises in future and harmonize UNFPA's approach with that of the United Nations and other funds and programmes, including UNDP.
