While noting the advances made for the protection of children affected by armed conflict, particularly in the areas of advocacy and the development of norms and standards, remaining deeply concerned over the lack of overall progress on the ground, where parties to conflict continue to violate with impunity the relevant provisions of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict,
وإذ يلاحظ أوجه التقدم المحرز في ما يتصل بحماية الأطفال المتضررين من الصراعات المسلحة، ولا سيما في مجالي الدعوة ووضع القواعد والمعايير، وإذ ما زال، في الوقت نفسه، يساوره قلق بالغ إزاء انعدام التقدم، بوجه عام، على أرض الواقع، حيث ما برحت الأطراف المتصارعة تنتهك دونما عقاب أحكام القانون الدولي ذات الصلة المعمول بها فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم إبان الصراعات المسلحة،

The Council also expressed its intention, when establishing, modifying or reviewing the mandate of relevant sanctions regimes, to consider including provisions pertaining to parties to armed conflict that engage in activities in violation of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict.
وأعرب المجلس أيضا عن اعتزامه النظر، عند إنشاء، أو تعديل أو تجديد ولاية نظم الجزاءات، في إدراج أحكام تتعلق بأطراف النزاع المسلح التي تمارس أنشطة تنتهك القانون الدولي الواجب التطبيق فيما يتعلق بحقوق وحماية الأطفال في حالات النزاع المسلح.

" The Security Council expresses its intention, when establishing or renewing the mandate of relevant Sanctions Committees, to consider provisions pertaining to parties that are in violation of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict.
" يعرب مجلس الأمن عن عزمه القيام لدى إنشاء أو تجديد ولاية لجان الجزاءات ذات الصلة، بالنظر في الأحكام المتعلقة بالأطراف التي تنتهك القانون الدولي المنطبق على حقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في النزاعات المسلحة.

4. I propose that the Security Council urge armed groups to commit themselves to the child protection standards embodied in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocol and in international humanitarian law regarding the rights and protection of children in times of armed conflict, and to accept and cooperate in the monitoring of adherence to those standards.
4 - وأقترح على مجلس الأمن أن يحث الجماعات المسلحة على الالتزام بمعايير حماية الطفل الواردة في اتفاقية حقوق الطفل وبروتوكولها الاختياري وفي القانون الدولي الإنساني فيما يتعلق بحقوق الأطفال وحمايتهم في أوقات الصراع المسلح؛ وبقبول وتيسير رصد الالتزام بهذه المعايير والتعاون في هذا المجال.

(e) Expresses its intention, when establishing, modifying or renewing the mandate of relevant Sanctions regimes, to consider including provisions pertaining to parties to armed conflict that engage in activities in violation of applicable international law relating to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict;
(هـ) يعرب عن اعتزامه النظر، عند إنشاء أو تعديل أو تجديد ولاية أنظمة الجزاءات ذات الصلة، في إدراج أحكام تتعلق بأطراف النـزاع المسلح التي تمارس أنشطة تنتهك القانون الدولي الواجب التطبيق فيما يتعلق بحقوق وحماية الأطفال في حالات النـزاع المسلح؛

" Urges all parties to armed conflict to respect fully international law applicable to the rights and protection of children in armed conflict, in particular the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the obligations applicable to them under the Additional Protocols thereto of 1977, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989 ... "
