Mr. BELCAID (Morocco) said that his delegation would continue to oppose the circulation of Mr. Ruddy's request.

Its demand was at odds with the opinion of the Legal Counsel and of the United Nations inspectors, who had concluded, after painstaking inquiries, that none of Mr. Ruddy's assertions had any substance. It was the delegation of Algeria, therefore, that was trying to foist its view on others and was unwilling to join the majority.
وقال إن طلبه لا يتفق مع رأي المستشار القانوني ومفتشي اﻷمم المتحدة الذين خلصوا بعد استفسارات مستفيضة الى أن جميع التأكيدات التي قال بها السيد رودي خالية من أي مضمون، وعليه فإن وفد الجزائر هو الوفد الذي يحاول فرض رأيه على اﻵخرين وهو الذي يبدي عدم استعداده للانضمام إلى اﻷغلبية.
