At its tenth session, the Committee agreed on draft rules on arbitration as well as draft rules on conciliation, and decided to forward them to the Conference of the PartiesCOP for consideration at its first meeting.

The Chair of the legal drafting group further reported that the group had not had sufficient time to consider the draft rules on arbitration at the current session but that it would return to that item at the seventh session of the Committee.

In its consideration of the sub-item, the Committee had before it a note from the secretariat (UNEP/FAO/PIC/INC.9/14) which contained the draft rules on arbitration and draft rules on conciliation as considered by the Legal Working Group and agreed upon by the eighth session of the Committee, with the exception of one issue.
103- وعند نظر اللجنـة فـي هـذا البند الفرعـي، كان معروضاً عليها مذكـرة مـن الأمانة (UNEP/FAO/PIC/INC.9/14)، اشتملت على مشروع قواعد للتحكيم ومشروع قواعد للتسوية على نحو ما بحثها الفريق القانوني العامل ووافقت عليها الدورة الثامنة للجنة باستثناء مسألة واحدة.
