During the school year 2000/2001, the Agency's education programme provided basic education for 477,216 pupils in the elementary, preparatory and secondary cycles, vocational and technical education for 4,704 trainees and pre-service teacher education for 1,530 students in the three education science faculties in the West Bank and Jordan fields and the teacher training section in Lebanon.
