The time allocation does not increase even when the Committee is considering combined reports, which has become an increasingly frequent practice; initial and second periodic reports are considered in one and a half meetings and second and subsequent periodic reports are considered in one meeting.
ولا يزداد تخصيص الوقت حتى عند نظر اللجنة في التقارير المشتركة، وهو ما أصبح ممارسة متكررة بصورة متزايدة؛ وينظر في التقارير اﻷولية والدورية الثانية في جلسة ونصف جلسة وفي التقارير الدورية الثانية واللاحقة في جلسة واحدة.

10. Invites States parties to the Convention to make all possible efforts to submit their initial as well as their second and subsequent periodic reports on the implementation of the Convention, in accordance with article 18 thereof and with the guidelines provided by the Committee, and to cooperate fully with the Committee in the presentation of their reports;
١٠ - تدعو الدول اﻷطراف في الاتفاقية إلى بذل جميع الجهود الممكنة لتقديم تقاريرها اﻷولية، فضلا عن تقاريرها الدورية الثانية واللاحقة عن تنفيذ الاتفاقية، وفقا للمادة ١٨ منها وللمبادئ التوجيهية التي وضعتها اللجنة، والى التعاون تعاونا تاما مع اللجنة في تقديم تقاريرها؛

18. The Committee had decided at its ninth session 1/ to convene a pre-session working group for five days before each session to prepare lists of questions relating to the second and subsequent periodic reports that would be considered by the Committee at the session.
١٨ - قررت اللجنة، في دورتها التاسعة)١(، عقد فريق عامل سابق للدورة لمدة خمسة أيام قبل كل دورة من أجل إعداد قائمة باﻷسئلة المتصلة بالتقارير الدورية الثانية واللاحقة التي ستنظر فيها اللجنة في الدورة.

10. ١١ - قررت اللجنة في دورتها التاسعة)٧( دعوة فريق عامل لما قبل الدورة إلى الانعقاد لفترة مدتها خمسة أيام قبل كل دورة ﻹعداد قوائم باﻷسئلة المتعلقة بالتقارير الدورية الثانية واللاحقة لها التي ستنظر فيها اللجنة في الدورة.
