The SBI may also wish to take note of the experience acquired so far with the review process, and make recommendations to COP 2 on the process for the review of second communications.

The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its fifth session, inter alia, requested the secretariat to prepare an initial compilation and synthesis by the seventh session of the SBSTA for all second communications received by 15 April 1997 (see document FCCC/SBSTA/1997/4).

The SBI may wish to note that the secretariat has prepared an overview of the information on transfer of technologies by Annex II Parties (FCCC/SBSTA/1997/13) on the basis of second communications.
٩١- وقد تودّ الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ أن تحيط علما بأن اﻷمانة قد أعدت نظرة عامة على المعلومات المتعلقة بنقل التكنولوجيات من جانب اﻷطراف المدرجة في المرفق الثاني (FCCC/SBSTA/1997/13) استناداً إلى البلاغات الثانية.

second communications Based on the experience with the preparation and submission of first national communications, as well as the review process, the SBI may wish to consider introducing some changes in the process of submission and review of second national communications from Annex I Parties.
