Following the adoption of a declaration on the prevention of genocide at its sixtysixth session (see chapter VIII), the Committee adopted the following decision at its sixtyseventh session:

Based on the information submitted and collected for the thematic discussion, the Committee, following extensive debate, adopted at its 1701st meeting, a declaration on the prevention of genocide (for the text, see chapter VIII), which had been prepared in an informal drafting group chaired by Mr. Shahi.

Two further compilations were produced, one on international human rights and humanitarianlaw instruments and international criminal law, the other on international and national jurisprudence and doctrine (see chapter VIII). Additionally, the Office published a leaflet on security and self-defence.

14. Concerning technical assistance and advisory services, the Office continued to increase its dialogue and develop projects with the Colombian institutions responsible for protecting and promoting human rights and with non-governmental organizations and academic institutions (see chapter VIII).

Having usually no recourse to the individual shareholders, the host Government may require the project company to provide various types of guarantees for the performance of its obligations under the project agreement (see chapter VIII, “Delays, defects and other failures to perform”, ___).

(b) As part of the strategy, States should develop or expand national indicators on food insecurity in line with the FIVIMS initiative coordinated by FAO (see chapter VIII). This system is intended to absorb data from various bases within other United Nations agencies including the comprehensive nutrition-related data set compiled by UNICEF in some regions;

Second, the secured creditor must ensure that the grantor in possession takes proper care of, duly insures and protects the encumbered assets to preserve their commercial value, matters which must all be addressed in the security agreement between the secured creditor and the grantor (see chapter VIII on rights and obligations of the parties; A/CN.9/631/Add.5).

181. Organization-wide efforts to increase the level of regular resources are a high priority. Separate targets for regular resources and other resources for regular and emergencies are thus included in this plan, as reflected in figure I. The financial medium-term plan (see chapter VIII) provides more detailed information on projected contributions, expenditures, cash balances and liquidity.
