The Council was chaired by H. E. Seyoum Mesfin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the current Chairperson of the IGAD Council of Ministers.
وترأس المجلس السيد سيوم مسفين، وزير خارجية جمهورية إثيوبيا الديمقراطية الاتحادية والرئيس الحالي لمجلس وزراء الهيئة.

The Council was chaired by H.E. Seyoum Mesfin, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and current Chairperson of the IGAD Council of Ministers.
وترأس المجلس الوزاري معالي السيد سيوم مسفين، وزير الشؤون الجارية في جمهورية إثيوبيا الديمقراطية الاتحادية والرئيس الدوري الحالي لمجلس وزراء الهيئة الحكومية الدولية المعنية بالتنمية.

While in Addis Ababa, I met Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin and other senior government officials, as well as the Secretary-General of the Organization of African Unity, Mr. Salim Ahmed Salim.

8. On 5 August 2006, an Ethiopian delegation led by Minister for Foreign Affairs Seyoum Mesfin arrived in Baidoa on a mediation mission.
8 - وفي 5 آب/أغسطس 2006 وصل إلى بايدوا وفد إثيوبي بزعامة وزير الخارجية سيوم مسفين في مهمة وساطة.

At this juncture, allow me to restate in part what Ethiopia's Foreign Minister, H.E. Mr. Seyoum Mesfin said at the fifty-fifth session of the General Assembly in addressing the issue of peace and reconciliation in Somalia:
فاسمحوا لي في هذه الظروف أن أكرر بعضا مما ذكره وزير خارجية إثيوبيا، سعادة السيد سيوم ميسفين، خلال الدورة الخامسة والخمسين للجمعية العامة عند تناوله مسألة السلام والمصالحة في الصومال:
