وقد مضت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، منذ رسالتي الأخيرة إليكم، في استعمال القوة المفرطة والعشوائية ضد السكان المدنيين الفلسطينيين، وقتلت أكثر من 26 فلسطينيا، منهم عدة أطفال ورجل معاق عقليا، في هجمات مختلفة في كافة أنحاء الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة على مدى ثلاثة أسابيع تقريبا.

In the period of just three days since my last letter to you, the occupying forces have killed dozens more Palestinians, including a young boy killed in front of his home and a deaf mute killed while standing on his balcony.
وفي الفترة التي انقضت منذ آخر رسالة وجهتها إليكم، والتي لا تتعدى ثلاثة أيام، قامت قوات الاحتلال بقتل عشرات من الفلسطينيين، ومنهم صبي قتل أمام منزله وشخص أصم وأبكم قتل أثناء وقوفه في شرفة منزله.

since my last letter to you on 18 January 2006, the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, has witnessed significant political developments, namely the conclusion of democratic and transparent elections.
منذ آخر رسالة وجهتها إليكم في 18 كانون الثاني/يناير 2006، شهدت الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، تطورات سياسية هامة تمثلت في إجراء انتخابات ديمقراطية شفافة.

Accordingly, in follow-up to the above-mentioned letters, I deeply regret to inform you that, since my last letter, at least 28 Palestinians, including women and children, have been killed by the Israeli occupying forces, raising the total number of martyrs to 2,510 Palestinians. (The names of the martyrs that have been identified thus far are contained in the annex to the present letter.)
وعليه، ومتابعة للرسائل المذكورة أعلاه، يؤسفني عميق الأسف إبلاغكم بأنه منذ رسالتي السابقة قتلت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ما لا يقل عن 28 فلسطينيا، من بينهم نساء وأطفال، مما يرفع مجموع عدد الشهداء إلى 510 2 شهداء فلسطينيين (ترد أسماء الشهداء الذين جرى التعرف عليهم حتى الآن في مرفق هذه الرسالة).

Accordingly, in follow-up to the above-mentioned letters, I regret to inform you that, in the few days since my last letter to you, at least 13 more Palestinian civilians, including two children, have been killed by the Israeli occupying forces, raising the total number of martyrs killed since September 2000 to 3,880. (The names of the martyrs who have been identified are listed in the annex to the present letter.)
وبناء عليه، ومتابعة للرسائل المذكورة أعلاه، يؤسفني أن أبلغكم بأنه منذ آخر رسالة بعثنا بها إليكم قبل أيام قلائل، قتلت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ما لا يقل عن 13 مدنيا فلسطينيا آخرين، مما يرفع العدد الإجمالي للشهداء الذين قُتلوا منذ أيلول/سبتمبر 2000 إلى 880 3 شهيدا. In fact, since my last letter to you, the Israeli occupying forces have killed at least 41 Palestinians, 15 of them killed in just the past six days since the Summit.

I regret to inform you that, since my last letter to you and the convening of the emergency meeting of the Security Council on Saturday, 1 March 2008, the Palestinian death toll has continued to rise as a result of the military onslaught unleashed by Israel, the occupying Power, against the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip.
