On the so called " erased " , AI informed that on 26 February 1992, some 25.671 people were unlawfully removed from the Slovenian registry of permanent residents, being mainly people from other republics of the former Yugoslavia who had been living in Slovenia but who had not acquired Slovenian citizenship following independence of the country.
