In paragraph 6 of the same decision, the Conference of the Parties invited the various lead countries and organizations to prepare drafts of the various specific and general revised technical guidelines, in consultation with the small intersessional working group.

1. Decides to extend the mandate of the small intersessional working group until the seventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to commence work, with the assistance of the Secretariat, in accordance with the work programme contained in the annex to the present decision with a view to indicating possible solutions to the questions and issues set out in decision OEWG-II/4;
1 - يقرر تمديد ولاية الفريق العامل الصغير لما بين الدورات حتى موعد انعقاد الاجتماع السابع لمؤتمر الأطراف لكي يشرع في العمل، بمساعدة الأمانة، وفقاً لبرنامج العمل الوارد في المرفق للمقرر الحالي بهدف تحديد الحلول الممكنة للمسائل والقضايا المبينة في مقرر الفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية - 2/4؛

Parties were also invited to nominate experts to participate in the small intersessional working group for the further development of the technical guidelines.
كما دعيت الأطراف إلى تسمية خبراء للمشاركة في الفريق المصغر العامل بين الدورات من أجل مواصلة وضع المبادئ التوجيهية التقنية.

In the ensuing discussion, general appreciation and support were expressed for the work of the small intersessional working group.

2. Extends the mandate of the small intersessional working group on used tyres established by decision OEWG VI/3, which will work in particular by electronic means;
2 - يمدد ولاية الفريق العامل الصغير بين الدورات المعني بالإطارات المستعملة الذي أنشئ بمقتضى مقرر الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية - 6/3، الذي سيعمل على وجه الخصوص بالوسائل الإلكترونية؛

The Secretariat received a financial contribution from Switzerland to support the work of the small intersessional working group, which made it possible to hire a consultant and to hold two meetings.
