1. The following is the executive summary of a more comprehensive Civil Society Declaration adopted by acclamation by the UNCTAD XIII Civil Society Forum on 19 April 2012 in Doha.
1- هذا موجز نص أشمل يتناول إعلان المجتمع المدني الذي اعتمده منتدى المجتمع المدني للأونكتاد الثالث عشر بالتزكية في 19 نيسان/أبريل 2012 بالدوحة.

The Forum produced a civil Society Declaration, delivered to the G-20 at the Cannes summit, which highlighted universal social protection and transformative social policy as essential components of development strategies to overcome current crisis;
وأصدر المنتدى إعلان المجتمع المدني، الذي قُدم إلى مجموعة العشرين في قمة مدينة كان، والذي ركز على الحماية الاجتماعية الشاملة والسياسة الاجتماعية التحويلية باعتبارهما عنصرين أساسيين للاستراتيجيات الإنمائية للتغلب على الأزمة الحالية؛

8. In January and February 2010, UNAMID conducted 32 conferences and public meetings throughout Darfur to disseminate the November 2009 Doha Civil Society Declaration on Darfur and to mobilize support among the population.

2. After an introduction by the President of the Trade and Development Board, the Deputy Secretary-General of UNCTAD welcomed this opportunity for interaction with civil society, stating that the Conference would include a Civil Society Forum from 17 to 25 April, and that its Civil Society Declaration would be presented at the opening plenary of the Committee of the Whole of the Conference on 21 April.
2- وعقب مقدمة أدلى بها رئيس مجلس التجارة والتنمية، رحَّب نائب الأمين العام للأونكتاد بهذه الفرصة التي تتيح التفاعل مع المجتمع المدني وقال إن المؤتمر سيتضمن منتدياً للمجتمع المدني يُعقد من 17 إلى 25 نيسان/أبريل وإن إعلان المجتمع المدني الذي سيصدر عنه سيُعرض في الجلسة العامة الافتتاحية للجنة الجامعة للمؤتمر في 21 نيسان/أبريل.
