The Government of Iraq further rejects outright the pretexts advanced by Turkey to justify such incursions into northern Iraq, given that the alleged pursuit of elements that pose a threat to Turkish national security does not make it legitimate for Turkey to adopt policies that are entirely at odds with its declared commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq.
كما ترفض حكومة جمهورية العراق، وبشكل قاطع، الحجج التي تتذرع بها تركيا في تبريرها لعمليات الغزو لشمالي العراق، إذ أن دعوى مطاردة عناصر تهدد اﻷمن القومي التركي لا تبيح لها مواصلة سياستها هذه التي تتقاطع كليا مع ما تعلنه تركيا من حرص على سيادة ووحدة أراضي العراق.

First of all, I should like to underline that, since the end of the Gulf war, Turkey has consistently expressed its commitment to the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq and has acted accordingly.

كما ترفض بشكل قاطع الحجج والذرائع التي تتذرع بها تركيا في تبريرها لعمليات العدوان على شمالي العراق، إذ أن دعوى مطاردة عناصر تهدد الأمن القومي التركي لا تبيح لها مواصلة سياستها هذه، التي تتقاطع كليا مع ما تعلنه تركيا من حرص على سيادة ووحدة أراضي العراق.

كما وترفض حكومة جمهورية العراق، وبشكل قاطع، الحجج والذرائع التي تتذرع بها تركيا في تبرير شن مثل هذه العمليات. إذ أن دعوى مطاردة عناصر تهدد اﻷمن القومي التركي لا تبيح لها مواصلة سياستها هذه، والتي تتقاطع كليا مع ما تعلنه تركيا من حرص على سيادة ووحدة أراضي العراق.
