Three parties participated in the project and performed the assessment: the Asia-Pacific Multilateral Cooperation in Space Technology and Applications, the China National Space Administration, supported by Yunnan Sunpa Image Transmission Sci-Tech, and the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan.
وهذه الأطراف هي: هيئة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ للتعاون المتعدّد الأطراف في ميدان التكنولوجيا والتطبيقات الفضائية، وإدارة الفضاء الوطنية الصينية، ويدعمها مركز يونّان سونبا العلمي التقني لإرسال الصور الساتلية في الصين، ولجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي في باكستان.

The registry is maintained by the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) at its headquarters in Karachi.
وتحتفظ بالسجل لجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي الباكستانية (سوباركو) التي يوجد مقرها في كراتشي.

40. The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission worked on projects and programmes in many fields useful to the country's development and was making significant progress in developing a remote sensing satellite system.

The expert from Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) presented a rapid damage assessment and rapid response mapping tool that used the MODIS instrument aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites and Spot 4 and Spot 5 data, as well as ground surveys, to estimate the extent and the impact of floods.
وعرض الخبير من لجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي في باكستان أداةً للتقييم السريع للأضرار ورسم خرائط الاستجابة السريعة باستخدام جهاز المطياف الراديوي التصويري المتوسط الاستبانة الموجود على متن الساتلين تيرا وأكوا وبيانات الساتلين سبوت 4 وسبوت 5، وكذلك المسح الأرضي، لتقييم نطاق الفيضانات وأثرها.

The Workshop was jointly organized by the Office for Outer Space Affairs of the Secretariat, as part of the activities of the United Nations Programme on Space Applications in 2013, and by the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) of Pakistan.

Pakistan's national space agency, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), is emphasizing space-related activities to address various socioeconomic issues of the country.
وتولي وكالة الفضاء الباكستانية، التي تسمى لجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي (سوباركو)، اهتماماً خاصاً لاستخدام الأنشطة الفضائية في معالجة مختلف مشاكل البلد الاجتماعية-الاقتصادية.

After the earthquake that struck Dalbandin, Pakistan, in January 2011, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan, a UN-SPIDER regional support office, provided imagery and maps to the national disaster authority to support relief efforts.
59- وفي أعقاب الزلزال الذي ضرب دالباندين، باكستان، في كانون الثاني/يناير 2011، قامت لجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي في باكستان، وهي بمثابة مكتب دعم إقليمي لبرنامج سبايدر، بتقديم صور وخرائط إلى الهيئة الوطنية للتصدي للكوارث من أجل دعم جهود الإغاثة.

In carrying out its work in the region of Asia and the Pacific, UN-SPIDER works closely with and builds upon the expertise and capabilities of the regional support offices established in that region, namely the Iranian Space Agency, the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission and the Asian Disaster Reduction Center.
29- ويعمل برنامج سبايدر، في معرض اضطلاعه بأعماله في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، بشكل وثيق استنادا إلى الخبرة والقدرات المتوفّرة لدى مكاتب الدعم الإقليمي القائمة في هذه المنطقة، وهي: وكالة الفضاء الإيرانية، ولجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي في باكستان، والمركز الآسيوي للحد من الكوارث.

1. The main objective of Pakistan’s space programme being executed by the national space agency, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), is to promote peaceful exploration and applications of space science and technology in the country.
١ - الهدف الرئيسي لبرنامج باكستان الفضائي الذي تنفذه وكالة الفضاء الوطنية ، لجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي )سوباركو( ، هو تعزيز الاستكشاف السلمي للفضاء وتعزيز تطبيقات علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء في البلاد .

1. The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), as the national coordinator for remote sensing activities in Pakistan, has played and continues to play a pivotal role in promoting the use of satellite remote sensing technology in the country.
1- أدت اللجنة الباكستانية لبحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي (سوباركو) ولا تزال تؤدي دورا محوريا في النهوض باستخدام تكنولوجيا الاستشعار عن بعد بالسواتل في البلد، بوصفها الجهة المنسقة الوطنية لأنشطة الاستشعار عن بعد في باكستان.

The Workshop was also open to local practitioners and researchers: some 60 additional participants came from the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), the Institute of Space Technology and local industry contractors.
وكانت حلقة العمل مفتوحة أيضا أمام الإخصائيين الممارسين والباحثين المحليين؛ فجاء حوالي 60 مشاركا إضافيا من لجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي (سوباركو) ومعهد تكنولوجيا الفضاء ومن شركات مقاولة صناعية محلية.

The mission team comprised eight experts from UN-SPIDER, the National Disaster Reduction Centre of China, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs of the Secretariat, the Asian Disaster Reduction Center, the Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission of Pakistan and the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization.
وضمَّ فريق البعثة ثمانية خبراء من برنامج سبايدر، والمركز الصيني الوطني للحدّ من الكوارث، ومكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية التابع للأمانة، والمركز الآسيوي للحدّ من الكوارث، ومركز تدريس علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء في آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، ولجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي في باكستان، ومنظمة التعاون الفضائي لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ.

The project carried out by the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission demonstrated the advantage of using high-resolution satellite imagery, supplemented by Global Positioning System (GPS), Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies for the monitoring and control of groundwater pumping, particularly in the agricultural sector.
ويبيِّن المشروع الذي اضطلعت به لجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي في باكستان ميزة استخدام الصور الساتلية العالية التحليل، والتي تكملها تكنولوجيات النظام العالمي لتحديد المواقع والنظام العالمي للاتصالات المتنقلة ونظام المعلومات الجغرافية، من أجل رصد ضخ المياه الجوفية والتحكم فيه، وخصوصا في القطاع الزراعي.

UN-SPIDER regional support offices are currently being hosted by the following national organizations: the Algerian Space Agency, the Iranian Space Agency, the National Space Research and Development Agency of Nigeria, the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission, the Romanian Space Agency and the State Space Agency of Ukraine.
11- والمنظمات الوطنية التي تستضيف حاليا مكاتب الدعم الإقليمية التابعة لبرنامج سبايدر هي: الوكالة الفضائية الجزائرية، ووكالة الفضاء الإيرانية، والوكالة الوطنية للبحث والتطوير في مجال الفضاء في نيجيريا، ولجنة بحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي الباكستانية، ووكالة الفضاء الرومانية، ووكالة الفضاء الوطنية الأوكرانية.

24. Pakistan's national space agency, the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), continued to make progress in projects of national importance, ranging from education to telemedicine, agriculture, irrigation, monitoring of watercourses and floods, national resource management, satellite meteorology and environmental surveying.
24 - وقال إن وكالة الفضاء الوطنية في باكستان واللجنة الباكستانية المعنية ببحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي (سوباركو)، تواصلان إحراز تقدم في مشاريع ذات أهمية وطنية، تتراوح بين التعليم، والتطبيب من بُعد، والزراعة والري، ورصد المجاري المائية، والفيضانات، وإدارة الموارد المائية، والأرصاد الجوية والرصد البيئي بواسطة السواتل.
