32. In response to General Assembly resolution 63/90, which had highlighted the need for regional and interregional cooperation, preparations were under way for the Third African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development, to be held in Algiers in November.
32 - واستجابة لقرار الجمعية العامة 63/90، الذي سلط الضوء على الحاجة إلى تعاون إقليمي وأقاليمي، تجري الأعمال التحضيرية للمؤتمر الثالث للقادة الأفارقة المعني بتسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة المقرر عقده في مدينة الجزائر في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر.

Notable in that regard were the activities of the European Space Agency, the African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development, the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum, the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization and the Space Conference of the Americas.
ومن الجدير بالذكر في هذا المضمار أنشطة الوكالة الفضائية الأوروبية ومؤتمر القادة الأفارقة المعني بتسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة والمحفل الإقليمي للوكالة الفضائية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ ومنظمة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ للتعاون في مجال الفضاء ومؤتمر الفضاء للأمريكتين.

The Committee noted with appreciation that the fifth African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development would be hosted by Ghana and would be held in Accra in December 2013.
45- ولاحظت اللجنة بعين التقدير أنَّ مؤتمر القيادات الأفريقية الخامس المعني بتسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة سوف تستضيفه غانا وسوف يُعقد في أكرا، في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2013.

The Subcommittee also noted that the Third African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development would be held in Algeria in 2009.
ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية أيضا أن مؤتمر القيادات الأفريقية الثالث بشأن تسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة سيعقد في الجزائر عام 2009.

21. Also notes with satisfaction that the second African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development, the first of which was hosted by the Government of Nigeria in collaboration with the Governments of Algeria and South Africa in 2005, was hosted by the Government of South Africa from 2 to 5 October 2007 in Pretoria, and that the Conference will be held on a biennial basis;
21 - تلاحظ مع الارتياح أيضا استضافة حكومة جنوب أفريقيا المؤتمر الثاني للقادة الأفارقة المعني بتسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة الذي استضافته لأول مرة في عام 2005 حكومة نيجيريا بالتعاون مع حكومتي الجزائر وجنوب أفريقيا، وانعقاده في الفترة من 2 إلى 5 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2007 في بريتوريا، وأنه سيعقد مرة كل سنتين؛

The Subcommittee noted that the Fourth African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development, on the theme " Building a shared vision for space in Africa " , had been hosted by the Government of Kenya in Mombasa from 26 to 28 September 2011.
49- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية أنَّ حكومة كينيا قد استضافت في مومباسا المؤتمر الرابع للقيادات الأفريقية بشأن تسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة عن موضوع " تكوين رؤية مشتركة عن الفضاء في أفريقيا " ، الذي عُقد من 26 إلى 28 أيلول/سبتمبر 2011.

The Office for Outer Space Affairs organized special sessions on space law as part of the Fourth African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development (see paragraph 41 below).
37- ونظَّم مكتب شؤون الفضاء الخارجي دورات خاصة بشأن قانون الفضاء في إطار مؤتمر القيادات الأفريقية الرابع بشأن تسخير علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض التنمية المستدامة (انظر الفقرة 41 أدناه).

The Committee also noted with appreciation that the fourth African Leadership Conference on Space Science and Technology for Sustainable Development, on the theme " Building a shared vision for space in Africa " , would be hosted by the Government of Kenya and be held in Mombasa from 26 to 28 September 2011.
