Here I would like to remind the Assembly again of the joint paper submitted to the Council by Egypt and Indonesia in 1996. It included an exhaustive list of cases in which the Council should submit special reports to the General Assembly.
وفي هذا الشأن أذكر مرة أخرى بالورقة المشتركة التي تقدمت بها مصر واندونيسيا في عام ١٩٩٦ إلى المجلس والتي تتضمن قائمة بحالات على سبيل المثال لا الحصر يجب على المجلس فيها تقديم تقارير خاصة إلى الجمعية العامة.

Secondly, we would like to see the Security Council take advantage of the possibility of presenting annual reports with a more analytical perspective, as well as of the possibility of submitting special reports to the General Assembly.

(g) The Security Council should, when necessary, submit special reports to the General Assembly in accordance with Article 24 (3) of the Charter, for the consideration of the Assembly in accordance with Article 15 (1) of the Charter;
(ز) ينبغي لمجلس الأمن، عند الضرورة، أن يقدم تقارير خاصة إلى الجمعية العامة وفقا للفقرة 3 من المادة 24 من الميثاق، لكي تنظر فيها الجمعية وفقا للفقرة 1 من المادة 15 من الميثاق؛

(g) The Security Council should, when necessary, submit special reports to the General Assembly in accordance with Article 24 (3) of the Charter, for the consideration of the Assembly in accordance with Article 15 of the Charter;
)ز( ينبغــي لمجلس اﻷمــن، عند الضرورة، أن يقدم تقارير خاصة إلى الجمعية العامة وفقا للمادة ٤٢ )٣( من الميثاق، لكي تنظر فيها الجمعية العامة طبقا للمادة ٥١ من الميثاق؛

(g) The Security Council should, when necessary, submit special reports to the General Assembly in accordance with Article 24, paragraph 3, of the Charter, for the consideration of the Assembly in accordance with Article 15, paragraph 1, of the Charter;
)ز( ينبغي لمجلس اﻷمن، عند الضرورة، أن يقدم تقارير خاصة إلى الجمعية العامة وفقا للفقرة ٣ من المادة ٢٤ من الميثاق، لكي تنظر فيها الجمعية وفقا للفقرة ١ من المادة ١٥ من الميثاق؛

(e) The Security Council should submit special reports to the General Assembly for its consideration as stipulated in Article 24, paragraph 3, of the Charter;
)ﻫ( ينبغي لمجلس اﻷمن أن يقدم تقارير خاصة إلى الجمعية العامة كي تنظر فيها كما هو منصوص عليه في الفقرة ٣ من المادة ٢٤ من الميثاق.

Besides the annual report, the Security Council should prepare and submit to the General Assembly special reports on specific situations, in accordance with Article 24 of the Charter. In this regard, my delegation, together with the delegation of Indonesia, submitted to the Security Council in 1996, a non-exhaustive list defining some of the cases in which the Security Council should present special reports to the General Assembly.
وينبغي أن يعد مجلس اﻷمن - إلى جانب التقرير السنوي - تقارير خاصة يقدمها إلى الجمعية العامة بشأن حالات محددة، وفقا للمادة ٢٤ من الميثاق وفي هذا الشأن، قدم وفد بلدي - مع وفد اندونيسيا - إلى مجلس اﻷمن، في ١٩٩٦، قائمة غير شاملة تحدد بعض الحالات التي ينبغي لمجلس اﻷمن أن يقدم فيها تقارير خاصة إلى الجمعية العامة.
