وأخيرا ندعو راعيي عملية السلام الى الاضطلاع بمسؤوليتهما من أجل تمكين شــعوب المنــطقة من استرجاع حقوقها المشروعة وفتح صفحة جديــدة في تاريخ المنطقة تتيح توظيف طاقاتها من أجل التنمية الاقتصادية والرقي الاجتماعي.

To encourage the advent of a new dawn of peace in the Middle East, my delegation would like, in conclusion, to stress the need for the sponsors of the peace process to commit themselves more to the adoption of confidence-building measures and, above all, the adoption of initiatives to revive the peace process and thus to save peace in the Middle East.
وتشجيعا لبزوغ فجر عهد جديد من السلام في الشرق اﻷوسط، يود وفد بلدي، في الختام، أن يشدد على ضرورة أن يكون راعيا عملية السلام أكثر التزاما باعتماد تدابير لبناء الثقة، وقبل كل شيء، باعتماد مبادرات ﻹنعاش عملية السلام، ومن ثم إنقاذ السلام في الشرق اﻷوسط.

إن المبادرة التي اتخذتها مؤخرا مصر واﻷردن وإسرائيل والمجلس الفلسطيني والتي أيدها راعيا عملية السلام بإنشاء مصرف للتعاون والتنمية الاقتصاديين لبلدان الشرق اﻷوسط وشمال أفريقيا، بما في ذلك محفل للتعاون الاقتصادي اﻹقليمي موجهة أيضا صوب تحقيق هذا الغرض.

We therefore fully support the peace process, which has become irreversible, and welcome the efforts of the international community — the sponsors of the peace process in particular — to free the Middle East region from the burdens of the past.
